I just learned the other day, from my IDES 142 teacher, that the Human Ecology building used to be a dorm! But was later redesigned to be a place of teaching and learning!!

Human Ecology
Human Ecology is the building right next to the Union, where almost all of my classes are held. The halls are bright green, with projects on every wall. On the 3rd floor is the Landscape Architecture Projects. They are so intricate and amazing! Here are a few examples!!!

Halloween Weekend
Okay, so ive been trying for the last 2 days to upload pictures from my phone so i could show how my weekend went. Buuuut those might have to come later!
Last Wednesday was trick or treating in our hall! My roommate Kimberly and I went to Meijer and bought 2 bags of candy to hand out to all of the little goblins and princesses. On Wednesday, I spray painted my HUGE pumpkin silver and painted black stars on it so all the trick or treater's could admire my serious skill in art. :) Kids would run through the halls yelling "trick or treat!!!". We would open our door (nicely decorated with black paper bats!) and gladly give them candy and admire their terrific choice in costume!
Later in the week, me, my boyfriend and roommate took a trip to Akers dinning hall to experience 'Dining with the Dead'. All of the employees were extremely into it, and the decorations were fantastic! It got everyone into the Halloween spirit. They even served "fingers". How amazing. :) There were many haunted houses throughout campus, but I wasn't able to make it to any of those.
Pictures will come any day, which will better explain the fun activities of Halloween on campus.
Shoot....if Halloween was this good on campus, I cant wait till Thanksgiving!

Weekend...Halloweekend
Halloweekend is one of my personal favorite things to do in the fall every year.
Halloweekend?
If you dont know what Halloweekend is, then you are seriously missing out!
Every year at Cedar Point, there are certain weekends designated in October for Halloween events.
The decorations are extravagant, Halloween music is blasted through speakers, and at night the ghouls come out for a good scare...not to mention you get to ride the best rides ever!!!!!!! There are certain events available on Halloweekends, which are not available during the usual season, for example, the Corn Stalkers.
This fall season, my friends Kimberly, Sterling, and Trevor took a trip to Ohio, to experience Halloweekend all together. Corn Stalkers was one of the scary events they were featuring. Corn Stalkers was like a haunted house that looked like a corn maze, and people would scare you throughout.
There is also the Fright zone, where you walk through an area of the park, and people dressed up scare you viciously (if youre lucky)
I remember about 7 years ago, when my family would go to Halloweekends, when it first came out. The park was almost empty. You could get on ride after ride without waiting, and the Fright Zone was clear of people so you could walk through and get scared over and over. This last weekend when we went, it was so incredibly packed. Every ride we went on we had to wait an hr to 2 1/2 hrs. :( The Fright Zone was so busy that no one got scared, and there were so many people trying to get through the street that there became someone of a traffic jam and no one could move.
OVERALL!!! Great weekend with my best friends. Halloweekend is not something to be missed, even if you do have to wait a bit longer these days!!!!!!
