Vamps.
Whats goood whats goood???
Last night a few of us went to go see this movie of vampires, called Let Me In, in the Conrad auditorium. We had watched the preview before we went...

It looked pretty creepy and scary! So I was all revved up to see it!
When we got to the auditorium we were able to enter a free raffle, get a free poster from the movie, and take a tweet pic with a prop from the movie! From answering trivia questions in the audience before the movie, Sterling won a little comic book.
The movie was like Twilight...with 12 year olds and a ton more blood involved. It was slow. I was prepared for a scary, thrilling movie...but found myself in a love story of preteens. The vampire story was not original: human falls in love with a vampire.
If you're more into romance than thriller/action movie..go see this movie! If not....skip it!

Ballroom Dance
Last night, January 18th, while I was hanging out with Sterling a not slid under his dorm room door.
It was an invitation to an open Ballroom Dance club on msu's campus.
Over break, Sterling had suggested we take lessons, because its something we could do for the rest of our lives. completely shocked that sterling would want to take dance lessons with me, i suggested we go to this open class.
I have taken 10 years of dance, and 5 years of cheerleading. I was planning on starting dance again this semester at Spartan Dance Center, which would be about $50 a month, for once a week every month.
Sterling and I went to the Demonstration hall last night at 9:45 pm. At 10 there was an intro performance, to show us what we could learn if we joined. After the performances, we learned how to do some simple steps to the Rumba.
Tonight at 10 pm there is another free session at the Demonstration hall. They will continue teach the rumba as well as teach us the Waltz (which is what ster and i are all about).
After last night, Sterling and I have decided to join the competitive team. Its $60, plus the shoes you buy. Practices are mon-wed every week from 10pm-12am and thurs 10:30-12am. Yes, it is VERY late. But its so much fun. There are also sessions to go to on Sundays between 12-4pm
I cannot wait to join! Im so excited to dance again!
