Tomorrow my day at state girl is coming. Day at State girl? yesh.
I am a Day at State host for MSU. Students who are considering coming to MSU can spend a day or and overnight visit to msu with a day at state host.
As a host I bring the student around campus, to classes, to events, and meetings. We try to give them the "college experience" in 15-24 hours. I am hosting an overnight visit, which is from 4pm tomorrow till 4pm on friday!
The girl Im hosting is named Sheridan, and she will be an Interior Design Major (same as me!)
I cant wait to show her the work rooms and where she will have most of her classes. shes coming all the way from Arizona, so i have to make sure its a good experience for her. My roommate is also a Day at State host, so itll be more of a team effort. :)
Since this is my first time hosting I'm extremely nervous. Buuuuut, extremely excited.

Hi there...you might not know this but there is an Interior Design department on campus in Akers Hall 250 W Akers...take the stairs like you are going to the caf...it is awesome space and if you call ahead there might be someone to tour you around. They hire 3 or 4 student interns each year too. 355-7467 is their number.
