Last Blog.

Hey everyone!
Throughout the last year Ive grown more than I have ever imagined. Looking through my blogs I see how I have matured and became so independent and strong :)
Being on Mackinac Island there is just not enough internet to share, haha.
Since Im taking this fall off (1st summer in 3 years!!) I will no longer be blogging for MSU.

"Each of us has our own unique flaw. But it's the cracks and flaws we each have that make our lives together so very interesting and rewarding."

Thanks to all of my friends and family for making every blog interesting and unique!
Best of luck to everyone!!

Current

Current.
What Im doing right now.
I wish I could upload a photo to show you what I am doing.
The only internet I can get on the island is my friend, Jessica's internet from her phone.

What I am looking at as I type: A green lawn, with several green painted wood lunch tables, kites attached to poles flying above me, the clear blue lake with a few white caps, Shelper and StarLine boats taking off into the shore, a white and red light house that stand in the distance.
I am blogging on a shore line. On an island. With my friends close by reading books.
I couldnt ask for more.

Yes the lack of internet is annoying as all get out...but to be able to say that I am living the most amazing life is a wonderful thing to say.

Last night some friends and I were hanging out. One person brought up how they wouldnt change anything in their past because they were so happy that it made them who they are today. Agreed.
Everything that I have done has lead me to this wonderful life I am living now. I have the most amazing friends and family. A beautiful home, and two amazing jobs.

To remember my time here on Mackinac I have started a scrap book. It has a toooon of stuff in it! I seriously cannot wait to share it with all of you!

You know you're a poor college student when......

~The laundry detergent acts as a door stop
~Your Ramen bowl and root beer cup is one in the same
~Your "cup" for your Rootbeer is actually a large Tupperware
~Flowers are occupying the ONLY cup in your room
~Your Ramen is cooked in the microwave
~The fan acts as a filter for the fish bowl
~The carpet along with a few pillows act as the couch
~Your laptop is the big screen TV
~You have ravioli spots on the ceiling...how did they get there..and they're in the next room too???
~You dont leave your soap in the bathroom (community bath)
~You wait until the dishes have mold in them before washing them. Other things can pass as bowls and cups till you get around to it.
~Your closet resembles a locker
~When you call the jank bookcase "nice furniture" in the room
~When you have to call the Taxi Office to unlock your room
~You have wall stickers
~You Febreze your clothes to save on laundry money and time
~"headed home" is walking 5 steps to the next room

Lilac Festival

So the last 2 weeks (June 10-19), the Lilac Festival on Mackinac Island. Different events happen each day, such as wine tasting and "walk and talk with lilacs"
The lilacs bloom about one week before the festival, and are in the process of dying currently. The smell amazing and make the whole island smell super good!

Some events that go on during the festival are:
Grand Afternoon Tea- tea time at the Grand Hotel, $25, and dress code necessary
Architectural Walking Tour- learn the who, what, where, when, and why of many downtown buildings, $10
Mackinac island Dog and Pony Show- Presented by the Mackinac Island Dog and Pony Club
Movies at the Mission- New movies shown at Mission Point Resort

The events seem so fun! But its hard to go to ANY of them when youre an employee on the island (especially when you work 2 jobs like me!) My roommates and I had a ton planned out though. When I came home from work one evening there was line dancing outside of my dorm! I made it to the last song!

So today was the parade! The theme was "Game Boards", but it was Games in general.
Wings of Mackinac did "Barrel of Butterflies"...like Barrel of Monkeys!
We walked down dressed as butterflies and barrels. Of course I had to rock the whole barrel look...
We won "Most Creative" in the Parade! Im super proud of my Wings Ladies!

Funny Butterfly Q's and A's

As Ive said earlier, doing laundry is a serious chore. We sit around in an empty bar waiting for it to be done. Me and my friends made a super silly video of some of the questions people ask us....
Feel free to laugh...

I say 3....I mean 2

All Feathered Out

So there this new hair style going around. I saw it more in grand rapids and Lansing then I do on the Island. Its this feathered look in the hair using extensions with crazy bright colors. Im not sure if im a huge fan of it..but if you are, I found a great site from stumbleupon that will help you make your own!

Places I want to work....young and free

My mom is always saying to go ahead and do something! Travel! Take that opportunity!
I took the opportunity to move to Mackinac Island to work for 6 months. I am young and free, able to go anywhere I please...as the Dixie Chicks would say: I need Wide Open Spaces.  :)
Since Ive been here Ive learned that people move all over to make buco bucks in the summer time. Places include Alaska and other tourist destinations in the West.

Im thinking while Im young, not tied down, Im going to travel and work all over and try to make my life the most full filling. I want as many experiences as I can.

And Im finding that as I move away from home, whether its at a University, or 4 hours away to work, I am crossing so many things off of my bucket list. I am learning so much, and doing things Ive always dreamed of.

Places I want to work:
Alaska
Colorado
New Orleans
California
Oregon
South Dakota
Cape Code
South Carolina
Tennessee

...We'll see where I end up in life. Im still going to college, but I still want to have the greatest time every. Life is short, but not as short as they make it out to be.
Im doing so much more than I thought Id be doing at age 20. :D

Emotions through the Cell Phone

I have this theory.
Ya know how youre attached to that cell phone??? Why is it???
Sure you can communicate through it, but why do people then through their cell phone, or break it in half when they get mad?

People are sending their emotions through their phone. Therefore they become super attached to it.
Think about it, when youre getting awesome texts, and youre super happy, you love your cell phone and keep it close. When some people are mad at what theyre seeing on their phone they throw it against a wall or break another way.

I think that the serious emotions we are sending through our phones are making us way more attached then ever thought possible.

And do you sleep with your cell phone in your own bed? or directly next to you when you sleep?
I do!!
It goes directly under my pillow. Granted its also my alarm clock, but I think Id still sleep with it if I had a legit alarm clock.

Ugh, the struggles of technology.

Thoughts?

Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner in an Island Dorm

Hey!
I live in a dorm/apartment on Mackinac Island. Along with paying rent, we can also purchase a meal plan.
Every day we are able to go to the kitchen, which is about 3 times the size of a home kitchen, and eat with the lovely people we live with.

It works as an assembly line like in a cafeteria. You grab your tray and walk down the line, picking up what youd like. Sandra is the cook. She is Jamaican with a beautiful accent. Shes always calling us "hunny" "baby" or "sweety". You could say shes like our house mother.

For breakfast she makes us eggs, pancakes/french toast, sausage/bacon, and always hash browns.

As soon as we finish lunch we rush to the lunch table to make our lunch. See, during lunch time, almost every employee on the island is at work. So, we pack a lunch like we would k-12. Everything is provided for us, including a lunch bag.

At dinner we all congregate again for a sit down meal. Its one thing, if you dont like what Sandra is cookin up, you have to walk a few feet to the nearest restaurant to get something else. But that is never needed, because Sandra is such a good cook!

Now the meal plan is not required, but if youre not on one, its very easy to spend a ton of money at the local grocery store.

Computer Issues

Hey guys!
Id like to apologize! First, I have no internet on the island, so it takes me forever. Then my computer gets a virus from using unsafe networks. Then I have to find someone to fix it!
Luckily my good friend Jake, who also lives in my dorm is able to fix it, but has to completely reinstall my computer. Its been a hectic week with very little blogging. I am currently using the lovely Kelseys (my roommate) computer. SO THEN!!! I cant even upload the pictures or videos that I want. And trust me, weve been making great videos for this blog!!!

Ugh! hopefully my comp is fixed very soon so that I can share even more with you!

I wouldnt date you if you were the last guy on this island!

The purpose of this post is to talk about the boys on Mackinac Island.
Theyre all looking for something.
And they're all crazy!
One guy told me, Bringing a girlfriend to this island is like bringing sand to the beach. You just don't show up to Mackinac Island with a significant other.
A lot of people are here to hook up or get girlfriends/boyfriends.

Now listen, these boys are so incredibly desperate that they will go after several girls at the same time, even if the girls are roommates!

A guy, Todd** told my roommate, Kelsey that he liked her sooo much after knowing her only one day (that alone is creepy). She nicely rejected him. The next morning he tells me that he likes me... CAUGHT YA! He was called out, to which he tried to cover up and get away with...which clearly didn't work out.

I don't know if these boys are just super desperate, or they just don't care at all!

I don't want to date any boy here, just knowing they're all hound dogs, and why would I want to date anyone anyways? I'm leaving in 6 months. Summer fling? Okay. Committed relationship? Not Okay.

And another thing! The guys here like to call you pet names! Ive gotten a few texts saying "Good morning gorgeous" "hey cutie ;)" and "oh hi there sexy". PAALLLEZZZZ! If you proceed to call me such ridiculous names after only a few days of knowing me, I'm going to put you into the 'Sleazy' category.

If anything, the boys on this island are funny, and you can usually get a good laugh at them!

First few days on Mackinac Island

Hey yall!
So Ive been on mackinac island for about 10 days!
I have a few pictures to share, and a few things to say. Although its going to take me awhile to get the pictures up because it takes so long to load, I promise they will be worth it! There is no internet in my room whatsoever. I am currently at a Starbucks, on my day off, getting some internet addiction fix. While I sit here writing I can see all the fudgies (non-mackinac islanders) outside the window. The kids are practically running down the street, while the parents with a huge backpack and camera around their neck are chasing after them. A huge box of fudge can be seen at almost any time, and the smell of horse manure is ripe!

Listening to a soothing Norah Jones voice, and sipping my delicious chi latte takes me away from the business from the street, into the quiet cafe.

I wrangle butterflies for my job at Wings of Mackinac. Thats fancy talk for I work the cash register and walk around the conservatory. Its actually really relaxing because its so warm, there's chill music being played and there are butterflys flying all around you. Easiest job ever! In the morning I open the shop by wiping down benches and picking up dead butterflies in the conservatory. During the day I either answer questions about the butterflies or I work in the gift shop, taking/selling tickets to the conservatory and selling merchandise. At the end of the day we close the shop by sweeping, windexing windows, and taking out the trash.

My roommate is ammmazing! So strange working with someone you work with everyday!Waiting for everyone to still get to the island to start going out! There arent enough island workers to go crazy! and most of the workers are over 21 so they go to the bar! waiting for underagers to get here!
The last 3 nights weve gone on adventures with people. Everyone is trying to make friends so its easy to meet a ton of people! Since I live in the building where the Carriage Tour people do, Im making a lot of friends who drive the hourses and give tours every day.
The adventures we take consist of going to sites on the island, such as arch rock, fort holmes (highest point on island) and going to the lake. Last night I learned how to skip rocks!

Last few minutes before getting off the main land!

My mother and I! Shes amazing! Thanks for helping me move over momma bear!

My personal luggage carrier on the boat! So many things to move over to the island!

Like I said, The pictures are really slow at loading. I loaded these few in 30 minutes total. When I have more time I will upload some more! Many many many to share!

Cant wait to tell everyone more adventure stories of my work at Mackinac Island!

Breakups...

My girlfriend recently went through a breakup with her boyfriend of 3 years. 3 years. Thats intense.
Ive been through a few intense breakups from serious relationships. So! Here is my blog about what to do after the breakup! My top 5 do's and donts!

1. Do buy that jumbo sized bag of chocolates and chips.
2. Do cry.
3. Start writing in a journal. That way all your thoughts are down and you dont keep running the same thoughts through your head.
4. Do hang out with your best friends and family. Thats the best remedy.
5. Do watch a bajillion chick flicks until you feel better.

1. Dont go out and do anything drastic: tattoo, or crazy piercing
2. Dont go out to the club right away, take time to heal
3. Dont keep calling/texting the ex. Let them see what theyre missing
4. Dont be friends with an ex. From my own experience it never works out.
5. Dont stalk your ex around, via facebook or in person.

Sing Off

The other day my friend and I were daring each other to sing., and we were sooo embarrassed to, because we both dont consider ourselves fantastic singers to begin with.  He eventually got brave and sang...so I had to. That was the deal. Heres what I sang.

God Blessed the Broken Road by Rascal Flatts.

Lessons Learned from MSU.

Thinking back on the last 8-9 months spent at MSU, I know that I am so lucky to have all of those experiences.
I remember going to Grand Rapids Community College, hating living at home, with no freedom, and the best grades ever. I wanted to be free so bad. I applied to Michigan State as soon as I could, and not only Michigan State, but I applied to every and any college I could get into.

I never ever ever ever thought I'd go to a Big 10 school. Ever. I never considered myself smart enough. I never thought I had the capabilities. To be accepted made me feel like I could do anything with my life, and I can. I will. I am so proud of all that I have accomplished and overcome this last year.

I remember my first day moving into MSU. It was sunny, 80 degrees, I rode a motorcycle for the first time, and I couldnt wait to get out and meet people and start my life here.
This post is dedicated to everything Ive learned this last year at Michigan State. The good, and the bad. I think they both need to be documented.
This includes things that I am not necessarily proud of, and things that I want to tell the world about.
Hope you enjoy what Ive learned. Feel free to judge me for whatever I post to the whole world to see...lol.

Heard this song the first night at MSU.

Lessons Learned from MSU...

~I do not get the "Party Girl" title by any means
~My mom and I have the most amazing relationship when I live under a different roof than hers
~I can get ready for class in under 20 minutes
~Going to bed at 11pm is very unusual for many people, so prepare to get mocked
~I can actually paint and draw with practice. I believe it to be a learned skill.
~I can get promoted in the work place, and then put down by employees right after
~Naps are a definite must!
~Frat parties...are the best...
~House parties...are the best.... (Blue House)
~"boys right now will only tell you they want to marry you to get into your head and mess with you." -Skeeter
~I started taking anything free that anyone was passing out..a laundry bag for the college of agriculture, the can of sunkiss that the Sunkiss van was handing out...
~Falling asleep to "Beamer, Benz, or Bently" being blasted maybe one of the best things youll experience http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dTR7yvONCV8
~Riding a motorcycle is like nothing Ive ever experienced. The best. Doooo itttt!
~Green beer turns your mouth green.
~The problem isnt you dont have time to do your homework, the problem is you have too much time to do anything but homework
~Procrastination is an Art
~Before you look at a guy in a boyfriend sense, see them in a friend sense. He is a completely different person than you knew...but he wasnt. Hes always been this way, and you never saw it.
~Laugh at the boy who cant be without a girl, who cant be independent. Beware.
~Never try and put a drunk girls shoe on...shell kick it off. The next day shell ask why one of her feet are dirty...hilarious
~Go out with a bunch of random people youve never met before, youll make some serious friends (peter, andrew, jackie, brett).
~Dishes arent dirty until they have mold in them
~I thought everyone at MSU would be smart...no. Not everyone. People drop after one semester, and people ride with a 2.2.
~See different people at the same time. Keep your options open. Go on dates, but until they ask to be exclusive or be official, why should you make them your number one priority.
~Pimpin' aint easy.
~Pray that they have toilet paper in Frat bathrooms...
~Learn that there will never be toilet paper in Frat bathrooms unless you ask a brother specifically for it.
~You can never get the right temperature in the dorm room
~The freshman 5 (or 15...) is going to come whether you like it or not!
~Standing at a bus stop with a clown doesnt surprise me in the least.
~You get used to having low expectations for the cleanliness of a frat house
~Spending money is way too easy. Get a job. Save.
~Seeing a horse outside a hall isnt strange anymore...anything happens here.
~Acetone will ruin acetate!
~Sometimes you gotta let your pride go, say you werent prepared, and drop the class
~The food menu is saved on my browser
~Boys will randomly come up to you and give you THEIR number. Psh! screw handing out YOUR number! (thanks Tobin)
~You never learn last names. Ever.
~Movies are free here!!! (popcorn isnt...)
~Getting sick while at school is the worst possible thing to happen. Between the cafeterias, the showers, and the roommate, its just not a good combo.
~Beer never seems to have an expiration date... (google that one!)
~The trash can be a mile high...and only YOU will take it out...
~Never take $120 as a weeks pay for dogsitting (sleeping in the bed with the dogs required)
~Youll learn the greatest songs, that you never would have heard elsewhere
~You will lose your I.D., wallet, and/or keys at least once. And if youre lucky, youll lose your shoes too. :)
~Skype has never been so fun
~Football games are awesome. (I assume Basketball is amazing too!) Go to at least one.
~You have the choice to accept or turn down the guy who drunk dials you at 2am. Reject it.
~Going to the mall becomes a serious adventure, between waiting for the bus...the long bus ride...
~Get prepared for the bus door to shut on you
~When the beers gone, walk around the room, and pick up all the half full/almost gone beers, and combine them into one (beware, this is how mono is spread...I wouldnt know.)
~Single doesnt mean im looking...
~Finals week will be horrible. No one will hang out. The library is packed. And you wont get any sleep for a week.
~Textiles class is AWESOME
~Throwing your hair up in a sloppy pony tail becomes a "hair style"
~Anything can be celebrated, and break out into a party: ex. Bin Ladin's death, Easter, or Snow day ("getting slizzard in the blizzard")
~There is a dating section of allmsu.edu. Dont make a profile...go out.
~When dating someone in college, you can either A. gain more friends, or B. not make any more friends. Be careful of how you act while in a relationship. After getting out of my 5 month relationship I met a TON of people. Some of the best. The last 2 months of MSU was absolutely the best...because I had so many friendships, rather than a boyfriend. You can have both, but you've been warned of what MAY happen.
~Haters gon Hate! And ex's gon hate even harder (they shall talk smack like its their job!)... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dD9A8x_xn5g
~West circle has alot of fun events that only people in west circle really know about!
~Dont like your roommate? Move.
~Dont like Dubstep? Too bad.  You will be forced to listen.... :)   "wait for the drop"  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WSeNSzJ2-Jw  (sample)
~Caf food is not bad at all..and at the same time, its disgusting
~People will make up the most ABSURD stories about you when they have no idea who you are. Worst one I got was that I was prego and had an abortion..WHAT? where do people come up with this stuff??? Stupid people..lol
~You and your roommate will have either 1. the best bond ever. or 2. the worst bond ever. Going in blind is a risk!
~You will run into a lot of the people you meet on the weekends when walking around campus.
~There is literally NEVER a dull moment.
~Random people will recognize you from blogging for MSU... :) strange!
~You'll have the greatest stories to tell your friends!!!

I <3 MSU

Fun-Do-Date-Night

Hey everyone! So Im finally home!
I wanted to share with you about my last date night at MSU. Ive been seeing this great guy and we went on our last date Sunday, May 1st. We kept it casual, ya know...why make it extravagant and awkward when I was leaving in a day? We went to Brodey (he had never been) and had a quick dinner. I was going to go straight to the room because I had an all-nighter ahead of me...But agreed to go on a walk, and visit the Childrens Garden with him. Little did I know that the Childrens garden is FOREVER away. Its close to the Warton Center (Map of MSU) It was a beautiful day though, so the long walk wasnt bad at all.
The garden was beautiful. Right next to it was a "gardens around the world" type of thing. So you walk through one garden and its like you're in Great Britain with the hedges and fountains, and then you walk through another garden and you're in a Zen Rock Garden. It was sooo cool. I would've never known it was there if hed never shown me. Too bad it was so late into the semester!
After visiting the gardens we checked out the green houses! Ive never seen one, and of course they were locked, but I got a few good pictures from outside!
Some of the vegetables grown in these gardens are used in our own cafs around campus, such as snyphi and yakeley!

Grass?

Tomatoes!

The date was fun. :)  Hes such a great guy! I cant wait till I see him again when returning to State next year!

Spring Football Game

Hello!

Finished with work today, and took my last exam at 3pm. holllla! And its only monday! Tomorrow Im going home for a few days, and then coming to EL on Thursday to hangout with friends for the last time! I am in so much need of rest! I have pulled about 3-4 all nighters in the last week. I am on little-no sleep. Its ridiculous.

On Saturday, April 30th, there was a free football game for all to attend! It was just our own team, green against white. It was much more family friendly then a football game in the fall might be. I went with 2 other girls and we sat in the front row! Here are some of the pictures I took from that day!

Bloging Gets-em!

Hey!
So taking a study break..which I shouldnt be..

Ive recently looked at what blogs are viewed the most...
Ive found that the juicy ones with drama, and ugly stories seem to be more entertaining to readers. Some of the more popular ones are Roommates, The Good and the Bad and Want a few crazy work stories? have caught alot of attention. Since this is what seems to be the best, I will give you more of what I have. Recently Ive been going away from my G rated blogs about classes, and combo exchanges, to more extreme college stories such as how much a crazy batmizvah party may cost you, or how to make sure you dont end up with a terrible roommate story. Now, things wont get out of hand AT ALL...but the stories might be a little more enjoyable and less studious, which will be good for the summer!

To start off this new blog idea I have, on May 7th (when school is out!) I will be posting a blog about what I learned in college. The blog will be getting a fresh new theme as well. I cant wait to share this with all of you! Hope you enjoy!

Finals are Coming! Tips and such!

Hello!
While on College Candy today, I found a helpful site for finals!
It helps you organize and restrict you from those pesky sites that distract you when you're trying to study!
I am attaching the link so that you are free to read the article, click the definitions, and see for yourself if youd like to use them or not.
I downloaded RescueTime and am tracking how much productive/wasteful time im spending on the internet everyday!
The blocking sites will be soon be added to my computer in time, because my exams are next week!!!
Facebook is a huge distraction for me! I also find myself blogging when I really dont want to study...stumble upon is also a weakness...as you can see, I will be restricted for a bit!
Im looking at KeepMeOut this weekend. This will let me check sites that i choose, ex. Facebook, once (or however many times I decide) in an hour. If i try to go back to it, KeepMeOut will show up, saying I can go on Facebook in 58 mins...
Alot of students make their roommates change their facebook password during finals week so that they cant go on...this might be a better choice then giving away you password lol

Here is the site! I hope at least one of them helps you and your grades!

Pet Sitting Pay..

SUP!
So let me run you through this...
I pet sat for the last week, 2 dogs and a cat.
I had to spend from 5pm-7am every night at the house. I had to sleep with the 2 dogs, one HAD to be under the blankets with me.
It was about 20 mins from campus, so I had to get gas 2 different times, totaling to $35.
I got paid $120.
NOW! this couple is not together, not a family, not married..per say. So they each paid me separately when it comes down to it.
So, that means they paid me each $60 for 7 days of watching their babies...I say babies because the animals sleep in bed...
$60/7=$8.75 a Day, per person.
That is without ever paying me back for the gas money...so lets try this again..
$120-$35 (gas money)=$85
$85/2(people)=$42.5 per person, for one week
$42.5/7=$6.02 a day, per person.
I also lost a crazy amount of sleep from this job...

I was SEVERELY underpaid for this whole ordeal.
I AM PISSED.

Roommates, The Good and the Bad

Okay, so the last blog got a lot of views, and I received mucho comments from friends who read it, saying they thought it was super interesting. Hopefully everyone enjoys this next one...Roommates, the good and the bad.
This is MY view on the whole situation. Experiences that happened to me, OR MY FRIENDS, in the last year. It includes some good and bad stories. Hope you all enjoy! (granted Ive heard more horror stories than success stories!)
Also, enjoy the cheesy pictures... :)

The Bad (some are pretty...at all).
1. When you go to your favorite Frat house, and all the boys call your roommate a slut. You defend her, even though youre thinking the same thoughts.
2. When your roommate comes home with a condom stuck in her from the night before, and decides shes not going to try and get it out.
3. When your rommate cries about being a slut...and all you can say is sorry.
4. When your roommate acts like you dont exists.
5. When your roommate hooks up with a guy right next to you....and you hooked up with that guy a month ago.
6. When your roommate feels they don't have to take out the trash...ever.
7. When your roommate takes your boyfriends side, instead of yours.
8. When your roommate smokes and you've clearly said you don't like it. It makes all of your clothes stinky!
9. When your roommate obsesses about her weight, when shes perfectly fine...maybe if you set down that alcoholic beverage you'd lose a pound or two.
10. When your roommate locks you out of the room.
11. When your roommate has that huge exam tomorrow to study for and you don't! Instead of going to a study lounge, they stay in the room and keep the light on, while you're trying to sleep!
12. When your roommate gets a bruise on the back of her throat from...well.... And she cant eat for a week.
13. Being afraid to admit to your roommate that you DO in fact Party on the weekends...
14. When your roommate wants to join a sorority only to get "safe rides" home at night...not to meet "life long friends"

The Good.
1. When your roommate goes to bed every night at 11pm...so you do too. (from this I stopped sleep walking, talking, and snoring completely. It made my whole sleeping pattern and habits change for the better!)
2. When you learn more then just how to party from your roommate! You learn educational information, and you learn about who YOU are as a person.
3. When your roommate asks for you to room with her again next year.
4. The special bond that you get with your roommate that no one else in your hall... or even on campus has.
5. When your roommate thinks that you are a completely innocent person...until you come home with that hicky....
6. When you can watch seasons, and episodes of old and new tv shows together...example: Ghost Hunters, RAW, and Whos line is it anyways?
7. The moment you become facebook friends and start commenting on each others stuff, even if youre sitting 5 feet away from them in the room.
6. When your roommate goes home every weekend....and the weekend she does stay in the dorm with you, you have a BLAST!
7. When your roommate takes care of you when you're sick!
8. When your roommate and her mom make you something...My roommate and her mom made me a scarf!! Its amazing!
9. When your roommates parents bring food for the both of you back!
10. Your roommate listens to your most crazy stories...and then will listen to you when you most need it, the sad times.
11. When you and your roommate rearrange the room so that your items arent so divided.
