Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner in an Island Dorm

Hey!
I live in a dorm/apartment on Mackinac Island. Along with paying rent, we can also purchase a meal plan.
Every day we are able to go to the kitchen, which is about 3 times the size of a home kitchen, and eat with the lovely people we live with.

It works as an assembly line like in a cafeteria. You grab your tray and walk down the line, picking up what youd like. Sandra is the cook. She is Jamaican with a beautiful accent. Shes always calling us "hunny" "baby" or "sweety". You could say shes like our house mother.

For breakfast she makes us eggs, pancakes/french toast, sausage/bacon, and always hash browns.

As soon as we finish lunch we rush to the lunch table to make our lunch. See, during lunch time, almost every employee on the island is at work. So, we pack a lunch like we would k-12. Everything is provided for us, including a lunch bag.

At dinner we all congregate again for a sit down meal. Its one thing, if you dont like what Sandra is cookin up, you have to walk a few feet to the nearest restaurant to get something else. But that is never needed, because Sandra is such a good cook!

Now the meal plan is not required, but if youre not on one, its very easy to spend a ton of money at the local grocery store.
